Super Duper Saturday

So, this pass week I've had the lovely pleasure of meeting my good friend 'conjunctivitis'. My eyeballs have felt like sandpaper, and its peak hayfever season. So as you can probably imagine my face has been a swollen mess.

Normally I wake up to my alarm at 6am, yes 6am. So, when it comes to the weekend I get to enjoy a little lie in, if you can call 7.30am a lie in that is.

Today, I've felt more like myself and can actually see. So I treated my skin to one of my favourite mud masks, and boy did I need it, my skin was in need of some TLC, I then put on my skin enhancer and I feel amazing :).

I was incharge of breakfast this morning, and if any of you know me, I'm not a cook. I just don't have the patience for it, and nor do I enjoy cooking. However, I thought I'd make an effort today and made the kids waffles, sausages and hash browns. As you can see it was a pretty healthy breakfast. Scarlett enjoyed her two bowls of coco pop and then cheerios, I have no idea where she puts it all.

We watched disney for hours, and even when the kids were upstairs playing, I found myself still watching disney *hand over face*. Does anyone else do this? Please tell me I'm not the only one. Also how do kids turn their rooms into utter destruction in just 5 small minutes is beyond me.

Anyway I'm hoping to get better and more consistant at this sort of stuff, I've got so many ideas of posts, I just need to make time to actually sit down and start writing.

Happy Saturday

Welcome

I’m one of those many people out there that’s decided to start a blog. I don’t know why, as I’m not one of those up and coming writers or even a reader for that matter, but who cares, who says you have to be the next J K Rowling to start a blog.

I feel I’m at a place in my life where I’d like to have a platform to document my many life ramblings, as well as my feelings on certain topics and maybe even what I’m currently loving and not loving. This blog is for me just as much as it is for my readers (if there are any of you, that is).

Anyway let’s do the whole bit about who I actually am. You may have guessed by now my names Rosie, I’m a 27 year old currently living in the UK. I’m a wife, a mother to my crazy 3 year old daughter and a step mother to two beautiful 8 and 9 year old girls, so life can be a little hectic at times. Gone are the days of lie in Sundays and being able to pee with the door closed. I also work part time (30 hours if you can call that part time) and also work on my own business from home (I’ll do post a little more on this).

When I look back at the last couple of months, it has been full of ups and downs, a real rollercoaster you might say, when my life is not normally anything of the sort. I got married to my best friend last year (3 September 2016 to be precise), and it was A M A Z  I N G, walking down the aisle with my Dad, to see the man I was to marry, just gave me such an amazing feeling. We had our reception in a converted barn in the country side, it was picturesque you might say and this is where we danced the night away. It did however rain all day, but it didn’t bring a downer on the day at all. It was still a fantastic day to be able to share with all our lovely family and friends and just celebrate us. We didn’t go on a honey moon as we’d previously been away for 10 days to Barbados in the June and we have plenty of time to go on a honeymoon, I mean we are married for life, and that’s a pretty long time.

Anyway I feel like I’ve rambled on already and this is just the first post. I’m still pretty new to all of this writing stuff so give me a chance. I’m not planning on writing a book anytime soon, but let me know your thoughts and maybe what posts you’d like to see on here.
